January 20, 2022 - Following the conversation sparked by Travel Portland’s unique ‘This is Portland’ campaign, INDUSTRY has once again partnered with the progressive west coast hub by inviting people to come and experience Portland for themselves. After a turbulent pandemic, media ambushes and political unrest, Portland’s forward-thinking ethos was challenged by many people across the United States. But the city’s consistent advocacy for change and equality has also positioned it as a place that pushes for progress and truth. Now, Travel Portland has invited internationally renowned chef, personality and one half of the smash hit podcast ‘Powerful Truth Angels’ Matty Matheson as well as artist, director and the other half of Power Truth Angels Alex 2Tone to travel to Portland and experience everything that its versatile scene has to offer.
Matty Matheson’s expansive career as an accomplished chef, restaurateur and two-time New York Times best selling author has brought him many unique opportunities. In Portland, Matty will experience the city’s diverse palette of farm to table dining as well as nationally-renowned cafes and coffee shops. Coming as a creative from Los Angeles, Alex 2Tone will also arrive in Portland to experience it’s stylish scene and picturesque terrain. All footage will be captured through visual vignettes, immersing audiences in everything that this beautiful city has to offer. It’s all about coming back to the senses; whether they feel the blend at one of the city’s many coffee shops, feel the brunch at one of it’s famous cafes, feel the peace in the vivid nature that surrounds it or feel the wonder at one of its photographic settings, the campaign does a brilliant job of making you feel like you’re physically surrounded by the essence of Portland.
