November 9, 2020 - Recent events have been historic for the United States as we continue the ongoing push and pull with progress. On election week, five more states approved major marijuana ballot measures, voting 21 as the legal age to purchase, possess and consume cannabis by constitutional amendment. Arizona and New Jersey voted to legalize recreational marijuana, while South Dakota approved legalization for both recreational and medical use. Montana is currently in the process toward recognizing full legalization of recreational marijuana and Mississippi has pushed forward two proposals looking to legalize medical marijuana efforts. Utilizing her platform as a skilled entrepreneur to advocate for safe and responsible cannabis use, leading cannabis influencer Jessica Golich speaks to the influential effects social media has had on normalizing responsible cannabis use and therefore shifting the perception on national legalization.
