NYC Hip Hop Artist Julian Xtra Releases Spiritual New Single Ahead Of The Launch Of His New Merch Line ‘All Green Everything’
March 11, 2020 - NYC artist Julian Xtra is the first of his time. Taking a strong stance on health conscious choices, environmental awareness and spirituality, this Hip Hop artist challenges the norm by presenting new and unique ideas to the fold as both rapper and musician. His new single “Past Lives” releases March 31st, preceding the launch of his Merchandise line All Green Everything on April 20th. “Past Lives” is a hard-hitting track about generational trauma that is passed from person to person. Julian considers himself a healer and has made it his intention to incorporate healing messages in his lyrics, taking a leadership stance in a genre that doesn’t often talk about healing so openly and with such fluidity. His merch line All Green Everything is meant to parallel this ethos, providing thought-provoking clothing that promotes green living and the benefits that come from treating your body with respect. The body and mind are all connected and Julian believes that what you introduce into your body ultimately affects your mental health and consequently your ability to optimally create.
At the age of twenty two, Julian was diagnosed with Lyme Disease. The disease, often treated with antibiotics, debilitated him at length for upwards of a year. Changing his diet by choosing to eat clean, organic, gluten free and vegan, has given him his life back and has allowed him to remain mentally sharp and vibrant with energy. Knowing what healed him has influenced him to help heal others who find themselves in similarly debilitating situations. And his message extends beyond physical health and wellness. His spirituality has also allowed him the focus he has needed in order to maintain his rankings as one of the most talented battle rappers in the world; his placement in Team Backpack’s Top 12 at their International event in 2016 was proof that Julian has come a long way from his early battles with Lyme Disease. His new single “Past Lives' ' extends itself into that spiritual conversation of life beyond what we know here and now and how that affects us in the present. Julian’s tendency toward existentialism has allowed him a progressive perspective on life that many are afraid to tap into.
